Stephen Colbert Thanks YouPosted on Feb 4, 2006
The “Colbert Report” warmly appreciates the wonderful people who voted against their interests and gave people like its host a tax break. | video Advertisement New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. In addition to more robust spam filtering and moderation, new features include the ability to rate other comments, sort how they are displayed and respond directly via e-mail or in a thread. Unfortunately, commenters will lose their existing Truthdig identities. It's a pain, we know, but on the plus side you will now be able to log in with a plethora of options, including Google, Twitter, Facebook and Disqus accounts. Before launching this system we spent months in discussion with our top commenters. We listened to the feedback and we hope you like what we've come up with. This is the truth, with no embellishments. It’s the literal truth.
It reminds me of the Walmart workers who support the company that’s oppressing them. It’s hard to believe they exist, but they’re really out there. I recall talking with one of them, a woman who lives in a fifth wheel, and though she has medical insurance from Walmart, doesn’t have good enough coverage to see a doctor for a serious condition. Yet this woman claims that Walmart is a wonderful employer and only people who are lazy don’t appreciate working there.
As long as the slaves support the slavemasters, there will be no change for them.

You know, clinton made this appeal at the Dem. Natl. Conv. didn’t he? It’s still good and funny. I like it when he talks to the bullet point.
