AP: RAMALLAH, West Bank - The Islamic militant group Hamas said Thursday it won control of the Palestinian parliament and officials from the ruling
Fatah Party confirmed the estimate—though Palestinian election officials delayed the release of preliminary official results.

The claim by Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was based on reporting by Hamas activists who observed the counting in the polling stations, the group said. He said Hamas had won about 70 seats, enough for a majority in the 132-seat parliament.

Yes, I agree. Truthdig is telling the truth.
It does not matter to the neo-cons, their other right wing allies, including, shamefully, people like Hillary and Lieberman, wether the Arab is right, left Peace Now supporter or what.
What the Israeli lobby wants it gets.
This continues to frustrate the heck out of people like me, a Palestinian.
The Israelis undermined, as did Washington, the power of the PLO and than the PLA.
All Condi, the historical deficient did is lecture
the Palestinians.
Just who the hell is occupied, here?
And, who has America’s billions and military might [for free] why, Israel.
Someone give me a freakin’ break.
Give me another break, please.
Fayez
