Gore Smacks Back at Gonzales CriticismPosted on Jan 18, 2006U.S. Newswire (Gore release): “The Administration’s response to my speech illustrates perfectly the need for a special counsel to review the legality of the NSA wiretapping program. The Attorney General is making a political defense of the President without even addressing the substantive legal questions that have so troubled millions of Americans in both political parties.” | release U.S. Newswire (Conservatives release): Patriots to Restore Checks and Balances (PRCB) today called upon Congress to hold open, substantive oversight hearings examining the President’s authorization of the National Security Agency (NSA) to violate domestic surveillance requirements outlined in the Federal Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). | release Advertisement Previous item: If Al Gore Speaks Out in the Forest and No One Is There to Hear Him… Next item: Finally! Dear Al Gore 01-21 A,
The wiretapping issue is only the tip of a huge iceberg with regards to other crimes and scandals waiting to surface. If youre interested in taking the issue to the next level, youll need information. Id be more than happy to point you in the right direction. Please contact me if youre interested.

I like Gore when he is speaking for the enviroment and exposing the problems of the day. I agree that the Wiretapping is a serious violation of the first and fourth ammendment. The only thing that really ever caused me not to listen was when he took all the flack for using the administrations phones to Raise money from the Chinese. Remember?

Al Gore is correct. Frankly, this is only the surface as there is much more behind the scenes that many dont know about. What I know comes from being in a family for more than 26 years who joined Organized Crime. However, this isnt any ordinary Organized Crime as it involves criminal activities that have links all the way up to the top of our Political System. Wire Tapping is only one of many parts that are involved.
Another concern I have is that selecting an Independent Counsel for review needs to be carefully done. From what I know, many possibilities are already probably tainted. Patrick Fitzgerald would be the best choice.
Al Gore is doing the right thing. He needs to move forward with probing these crimes. With what I know, it wont take long for a few other crimes to surface right alongside Wire Tapping. If you think Wire Tapping is shocking, wait till you learn what else has been going on!

I have to admit it Gore was right. I watched his speech and you have to admit he was right. It was a speech based on history and fact, not just strong words.
Chris.
