One supposes that after losing all faith in Oprah by hearing her phony live endorsement of James Frey’s phony addiction saga, we should be mollified that she has chosen a book and an author with slightly more gravitas: “Night,” Elie Wiesel’s classic account of his lost childhood in Hitler’s death camps.
