New Liberal Radio Network Set to LaunchPosted on Oct 24, 2006The co-founders of Air America Radio have formed Nova M Radio, a Phoenix-based progressive talk radio network. Show hosts will include Mike Malloy and pollster John Zogby; former Howard Dean aide Joe Trippi will consult.

I understand children will be collecting for UNICEF this year or at least the push is on. NOVA M RADIO might find some way of stealing this source of funing and carry on a beloved tradition at the same time.

success depends on each show, each personality—one may not like what conservative radio hosts say, but they enthrall enough folks to pay their own way, if only because it’s profitable to appeal to human nastiness & fear
air america’s shows & personalities are boring when they aren’t downright smug—it’s like going to compulsory chapel at school: one would rather be anywhere else
stephanie miller does a great job of tearing apart conservative talking points by using wit & fast-paced argument, but she’s not part of air america
