The Mass. senator stopped short of announcing he’s making another presidential run, but said it’s a basic principle that “Americans give people a second chance.”
AP:
Sen. John Kerry says he deserves a second chance if he decides to take another crack at becoming president.
The Massachusetts Democrat, who lost to President Bush in 2004, said it is a basic principle that “Americans give people a second chance. And if you learn something and prove you’ve learned something, maybe even more so. Now, I don’t know what I’m going to do yet. We’ll make that decision down the road.”
Ronald Reagan twice unsuccessfully sought the GOP nomination for president before he got it—and won two elections for the White House.

I doubt that Gore has the political smarts to outwit and stay ahead of the take-no-prisoners rethugs. We need someone who is just as bold and street-smart as the thugs who’ll forever be plotting and lying against him.

I agree with the concensus: sorry pal, you had your shot and played it too much in the center. We need a warrior now. Gore would be a good match. Other than that, who?

I wish Al Gore would run. If anyone could turn the United States around by bringing jobs, integrity and innovation back, it’s him. Gore’s intelligence and leadership could damn well save the planet too. We NEED Al Gore.

Kerry, a skull and bonesman was complicit in the high jacking of the highest office in the land in an obviously fraudulent election.
He rolled over like Bush’s pet puppy and put up no resistence, even when before hand he said every vote would be counted. His aristocratic bullshit and good-old-boy connections stink!
Al Gore deserves to take the office he rightfully won. Americans will give Gore a 2nd chance. To Kerry, they’ll give him the brush off.

They spent 30 million to snmear him and he didn’t even call them despicable liars. When Chris Matthews asked if he would have voted to authorize the attack against Iraq if he had known the truth,AND HE SAID YES, I knew we had no hope.
He bungled too many opportunities and doesn’t deserve another chance. I have given campaign money to Moveon.org rather than the Demo Nat’l. Comm. I also sent the DNC a statement telling them that they had to get a pair of balls, guts and backbone and start using words such as liar, big fat whopper lies, against the Republicans or they won’t even win back the House.

Kerry is a cool guy, and all, but let’s face it: he lost to George W. Bush! That was the easiest election for Democrats I’ve ever seen, and sure enough, they bungled it.
There is another guy who might be better suited to make a second run: Al Gore.

NO, NO, NO !! Mr. Kerry, many of us Democrats do not want you to run for President. You are a respectable person, yes. But you are definitely not presidential material. Please, please step aside from the power trip and allow someone like Al Gore, or John Edwards to run for president of the U.S.A. Maybe you could find a position as vice president. Still, most of us would rather see John Murtha in that position. Step aside, sir.

During the last presidential election and the country knew voting had been rigged, John Kerry’s choice was to turn away and wash his hands of the mess.
Indeed I would never trust or vote for Kerry again if he can’t fight back better than that.

John Kerry was a total stiff as a candidate. He didn’t get down and dirty, he didn’t have his staff get down and dirty, and he didn’t challenge the Swift-Boat lie flat out and call IN PUBLIC these cowardly dirty-tricksters flat-out LIARS!
George Bush should have been EASILY beatable as the most incompetent president in our history.
Amazingly, John Kerry was an even bigger stiff than Al Gore.
The ONLY good thing about Al Gore losing was that Joe Lieberman didn’t become vice-president and primed to be the next president, and he didn’t have to give up his senate seat to be filled by a Republican appointee—which it would have been, and given the Senate to the GOP in 2000—Jeffords’ switch to indy gave the Dems a 1 vote majority which Lieberman as veep would have lost us.
But Al Gore is showing that he’s presidential material. John Kerry has not.

John Kerry doesn’t deserve a second chance - his quotes of former presidents 2nd chance is the past. We live in the now, we need leadership of the now - the office of president is not a rite of passage. I will not vote for John Kerry or fund a second time.

Neith John Kerry nor Al Gore deserve a ‘second chance.’ Although I didn’t like either one of them for the Presidency, they both won their elections.
Gore decided not to contest the results after the recount was done, showing him the winner.
Kerry did not fight the Supremes wading in and stopping the recount process.
Gore can’t be trusted. Anybody remember the PMRC, along with the real agenda?
Kerry threw his run. Nice for a Bonesman to step aside for another, and all that. Can we stand eight more years of them running the country?
Wake up: No to the Electoral Congress, yes to paper ballots w/an audit trail, and perhaps most of all, get real candidates to vote for.
Mickey Mouse won the write in against Nixon in ‘68…

Years ago John Kerry moved twice to find a town that would vote him into the Statehouse in MA.
Can we convince him that another country will elect him their president if he moves there?
