All the emotions that keep a soul content and safe, grateful and honest. Purity and love, faith and hope. These are what is hoped for by the small child, knowing that they are cared for and respected by a father, a mother, two that become as one, with the purpose that is based in togehterness of the heart, mind and soul. These are the values that make a family, that build for a future. The only two that has the capability to produce and structure a life that is from generation to generation. Truth must be part of any worthwhile life, morals and values, principals and justice. A small child yearns for this goodness, to be protected, resepected and told truth. For healthy and postive outcomes. Hurt is done by the intentional withholdings of truth and light. Darkness allows for deception and ill-fated outcomes. Grow in darkness and you reap what you sow. Walk in Truth and light, health and hope you reap. So children listen and use your inner strenght to be- strong and faithful and secure. That is the gifts human can give. A man must be true, for his word to count. A man that is lying and decietful is of death and destruction. Get the basic’s right least you end up in a heap of garbage.

I don’t get secular athiest, the old saying too smart for your own good. A world without God, means humans are in total charge…now there is a scary thought. The human race continues to prove through history they can’t manage civilization…..especially the San Francisco based self proclaimed intelectuals. Now there is an oxymoron.
Report thisGod is good and it’s only through his grace that human civilization still exists.

I don’t have time to respond to all of the comments, but there is one that caught my eye:

“What would this nation be if most of the youth are bible thumpers? Not unlike talibans and mullahs in some muslim nations, US would be a nation of christian talibans ruled by christian mullahs.”
Well, you are only partially right. You’re forgetting the fact that to be a CHRISTIAN, and not a HYPOCRITE, means you are becoming like Jesus Christ, who was not violent, as you imply we would be. No, if in fact most of the youth were “bible thumpers” then there would be 90% less crime, and suicides, and school shootings, and drugs, and abortions, and murders. No, we wouldn’t be Christian talibans, we would simply be Christians, and our nation would look a heck of a lot better than it does now.

I was raised ‘christian’. It took 33 years to see the Light… and walk away from that sect. What’s out there today is NOT what Christ called us to. It’s CGM, warm n’ fuzzy, comfortable religion. It’s become what Phariaism was to Yeshua’s time. It’s Laodicea… but now I’m beginning to see that you need the polar opposite Philedelphia to spur people AWAY from Laodicea to find REAL Truth.
I blog over at Xanga, and there’s a HUGE movement away from fundamentalist christianity to real Truth. I’m all for it (I’ve gone the way of Messianic Judaism). Anyhow, there was a Barna poll in 2003 that said that 93% of church going Americans didn’t actually hold a Biblical worldview… that only seven percent were actually scripturally sound in their faith. If that’s the case, it’s time to get out of the stagnating mess and find Philedelphia.
What spurred me on were the questions. Why don’t we celebrate the feasts, if they’re a shadow of things to come? Why have we usurped God’s mandates for man-made ‘holi’days? If Jesus is “Lord of the Sabbath”, why did we forsake it for “Sun"day? Where does it ever say we need to pray a prayer to be saved… isn’t that works? And more. So much more.
Articles like these only amuse me… because we are in those end days, and the church is asleep. Sedating the kids isn’t going to make them NOT want to wake up.

I reviewed your website, William Taylor, Sr., and feel compelled, for some reason, to comment.
You do realize, don’t you, that you have simply switched addictions… you’re off the injected heroin of your former life and are now flat-out hooked on the opiates created in your own brain by your emotionally-intoxicating, fundamentalist belief in Christianity.
Religion truly is “the opiate of the asses.” The more fervently you believe, the higher you get!
Enjoy the trip!

Jesus said, Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth UNTO LIFE, and FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT.
The way to eternal life is a strait and narrow way. Jesus call to followers of Him is not going to ATTRACT many. This narrow way demands dying to self-daily. A person (kids or adults) have to repent of ALL sins, believe the gospel invite Jesus in and let the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit transform them into new creatures (Truly Born-Again) and begin being a doer of the words of Jesus Christ not just a hearer of the word.
The many that choose the wide gate and broad way that leads to destruction (eternal hellfire) do so willfully giving way to the evil propensity of their own heart.
Bondservant of the Lord Jesus Christ,

We can only hope this is true. It is, in my opinion, a heinous crime to pollute a young mind with religious fundamentalist crap.
Wouldn’t it be a delight if even relatively unsophisticated and inexperience teenagers detected bullshit and stayed away in droves. My day would me made!

Go, teenagers! I knew you had it in you to see through the sham and hypocrisy and think for yourselves.
The day just started looking a little brighter.

This is evolution at work. After all, it is a daunting task to convince the 21st century youth to believe stone age stories.
What would this nation be if most of the youth are bible thumpers? Not unlike talibans and mullahs in some muslim nations, US would be a nation of christian talibans ruled by christian mullahs.

Dont believe it. The numbers might be dropping and the might not. Even if their numbers were going up they would say that they are going down as it plays into their us against them siege mentality.
They are clearly in the majority yet never stop beating their breasts like they are Americas most put upon minority.
