Dems taking on Fox News
From Robert Grossman / NYT

Within two days of the fiery Clinton-Wallace interview, Sen. Barbara Boxer and former Clinton lawyer Lanny Davis mocked Fox’s “fair and balanced” motto on air. It’s part of a strategy: no more rolling over for the Murdoch empire.

N.Y. Times:

THE Fox News Channel doesn’t officially turn 10 until this week, but the Democrats have already begun doing their best to spoil the celebrations.

The party crashing began last Sunday, when former President Bill Clinton transformed an interview with Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday” into a finger-pointing tirade against what he called a “conservative hit job.” Howard Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, quickly released a statement applauding Mr. Clinton for standing up to what he described as a right-wing, bullying propaganda machine.

In separate appearances on Fox News over the next two days, Lanny J. Davis, a former special counsel to Mr. Clinton, and Barbara Boxer, the Democratic senator from California, mocked the news channel’s trademarked motto of being “fair and balanced.”

I’m certainly happy at what appears to be something I’ve been waiting to see for years: Democrats growing a set.

That being said, I think many people are overstating the importance of this entire situation. It’s the difference between tactics and strategy… I’m more than happy to see Democrats finally engaging Republicans in the ring but let’s not get carried away with how important this one singular tactic will effect the entire campaign.

Republicans like to argue about things like this rather than the realities of life as they effect the people. Don’t allow this topic to become what the American people see and hear on TV for the next month and a half. There are too many REAL and IMPORTANT issues to discuss and trust me, the Republicans not only don’t have an answer for them, they don’t even think they’re worth discussing!

Joseph Goebbels would certainly be proud of the Fox network. Any student of history can watch the Fox news and experience how a fascist news organization does its job.

Whenever I hear a Democrat say “no more rolling over” I roll my eyes. How much for conservative bias in the media--and it ain’t just on Fox--are we going to have to put up with before the Democrats unite in decrying the blatant G.O.P. bias that’s out there?

About DAMN Time!

They don’t play nice, they don’t play fair. They are dirty fighters, liars and propagandists.  They ask leading, presumptive questions, but pitch only softballs to the Mad King George and his band of Merrie Fascists.

It’s time to stop pretending Fox/Pravda is anything but the propaganda wing of the far right and the neocon MFs!
