He won’t, because Dems are under pressure to be more aggressive considering Prez “weakness” right now and our future under Supreme Ct. for decades to come.

Alito will sail through the “conformation” proceedure” because the pusillanimous congress, weary of constant browbeating and arm-twisting over the last 5 years will quietly acquiesce-best interests of the American people notwithstanding- because of sheer inertia; years of being know-nothings and do-nothings. Only a major shakeup in congress will change this.
