Why I Am Not a MuslimPosted on Aug 22, 2010By Mr. Fish
Advertisement New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. In addition to more robust spam filtering and moderation, new features include the ability to rate other comments, sort how they are displayed and respond directly via e-mail or in a thread. Unfortunately, commenters will lose their existing Truthdig identities. It's a pain, we know, but on the plus side you will now be able to log in with a plethora of options, including Google, Twitter, Facebook and Disqus accounts. Before launching this system we spent months in discussion with our top commenters. We listened to the feedback and we hope you like what we've come up with. I also don’t want to be muslim! I’d rather be an imam, mufti, or mullah.
Being an islamic agha, whom villagers ask for permission to leave the village, or amir, king would be probably better.
But i don’t want to be a christian or mosheist, unless i’d be also a bishop or rabbi. That’s where all the charm of living is.
Btw, i am now for the second time reading qoranic innanities. It promises me death as soon as a bek, beg, bey, dey, or amir catches me in a muslim land.
But so do mosheists. Thats why i stay away from the ‘holi land’.
Report thisChristians don’t want me dead because, me being a basket case and godless [means sans christian, muslim, and rabbinic gods] find proof that ‘gods’ punish all godless people. tnx

Good luck Mr. President in your quest for the lost TRUTH! I think you’re better off not formally being either a Christian or a Muslim, but if you can, somehow, grasp the eternal edifying truths that these two historical figures taught.
May I suggest an enlightening reading for you:
“Muhammad: A Prophet for Our Times,” by Karen Armstrong!

But Mr. Fish, what if your idea of Christianity is a misreading of Christ?
