The Enemy of My Enemy…Posted on Apr 5, 2007
Advertisement New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. In addition to more robust spam filtering and moderation, new features include the ability to rate other comments, sort how they are displayed and respond directly via e-mail or in a thread. Unfortunately, commenters will lose their existing Truthdig identities. It's a pain, we know, but on the plus side you will now be able to log in with a plethora of options, including Google, Twitter, Facebook and Disqus accounts. Before launching this system we spent months in discussion with our top commenters. We listened to the feedback and we hope you like what we've come up with. Please direct any problems or concerns to us via our contact page. |

I would like to thank Nancy Pelosi for making the effort to re-establish diplomacy by meeting with Syrian President Bashar Assah. Diplomatic relations have been totally ignored by the misguided Bush Administration who prefer to use bullying and name calling, not only with Syria, but most other countries. I believe the leaders in other countries, other than Blair, find it insulting to their intelligence to try and have meaningful discourse with Mr. Bush. Not only does he embarrass the Dixie Chicks, he is an embarrassment to the entire human race. Never, again must Americans be so easily mislead. We must insist on qualified leaders.

You cannot talk to bush his ideas are cut into stone, anything about war is his version and no one is going to change his mind, but Vietnam was also a war and that war was put to an end by the American people.
