As I was watching the move “Network” yesterday from 1976, I couldnt help to ponder such wretches as Charlie Sheen (the cartoon does justice), Jerry Springer, journalism and mass media in general. The movie was indeed ahead of its time, just as Kubrick’s Dr. Strangelove was.
Report thisOne of my work colleagues (whom by society’s standards would be considered intelligent because of his vocation) commented “Every man secretly wishes he was Charlie Sheen”
Recurring proof that one’s vocation doesnt necessarily reflect intelligence or more importantly depth of thought.

““Is our culture spiritually dead yet? “”

Has been dead ever since the europeans imported their insidious
brand of organized religions over here, then forcing everyone to
‘perform the proper etiquette’ of these religions for proper social
acceptance, based on their ‘god’ being superior and better than
all others. And if god is upset, then instead of himself ‘knocking
people about’, he will send some of his military xtians over to do
it for him so he can smile.
Of all the underlying meanings of the 1st amemdment, NO ONE

Is our culture spiritually dead yet? I wonder what Sheen thinks about the torture of Bradley Manning, torture in Guantanamo, the US having the worst health coverage in the industrial world, the war crime blockade of Gaza, the illegal occupation of Palestine by Israel, and the corporatocracy takeover of the US government. Maybe he’ll tweet his answers soon.

Charlie Sheen’s real crime is that he spoke out about the 9/11 lie. Anyone who thinks this media campaign against him is anything but payback is deluded. The same thing, more or less, happened to Rosie O’Donnell when she said on ‘The View’ that 9/11 was an inside job and referred to the fake Bay of Tonkin incident used to invade Vietnam. Anyone seen Rosie O’Donnell lately? Anywhere?

This captures the sentiment… and the art came out well too.
Seriously.
You: Winning!
Charlie: Hopefully recovering lol.
Mass Media-Consuming Populous: Distracted.

The interesting thing about Charlie Sheen is that most people don’t realize how close
Report thisthey are to being exactly like him. The SSRI’s that people are prescribed for their own
personal emotional demons were designed by pharmaceutical companies to mimic the
actions of Cocaine, by drug companies chemists who decided to cash in on Cocaines
popularity with a drug of their own. The only difference between Sheen and the average
housewife on SSRI’s is with the type of delusion they believe in. Both exhibit irrational
behaviors, one supported by millions of others exactly like herself, the other clinging all
the tighter to personal delusions because there is no support. Still the deluded belief
systems are, the most salient things about their thought process. It only takes a short
nudge to push someone over the edge, into the world of the unreal, from where
psychiatry, and your local drug dealer can not bring you back. At least the drug dealer
won’t give you any more drugs when you run out of money, but your psychiatrist will
continue onward inflicting ever more damage, until the final debilitating use of electro
convulsive therapy is used. You are now a vegetable, cured by the absence of
symptoms, that your brain is no longer able to produce. You are no longer a bother to
anyone including yourself. Meanwhile the FDA continues to allow drugs that they now
are less effective than a placebo to be prescribed to ever greater numbed of people, and
continues to debate whether or not ECT machines should even be calibrated.
