Virginia from Virginia,

The US military is the world’s single largest consumer of oil.  Check out this page:  http://www.peak-oil-news.info/military-oil-usage-statistics/

How much petroleum does our military consume in our endless wars?  How much petroleum squandered with tanks petrolling Iraq’s streets, flying jets droppng bombs on Afghanistan, sending our troops out through someone else’s countryside, having our ships halfway around the world, supporting miles and miles of supply lines, etc., etc. etc.  We think of the wasted lives, wasted money used in these wars.  What about the wasted oil?

Dear America,

After further review, we have decided that the Gulf oil volcano will be impossible
to stop, so we are packing up and going home. Please find enclosed a check for
$75,000,000.

Don’t forget to stop in and fill up at your local BP dealer, where we are now
including a free “butterball” seabird with every fill up.

Have a nice day and happy motoring.

your friends at BP

President Obama must love stinky environs: please, please, please, someone extricate Obama’s head out of British Petroleum’s ass so that he can see the physical devastation in the Gulf of Mexico; while your at it, take Obama’s head out of Wall Street’s ass so that he can see the severely depressed economy that is now getting worse, and the military-industrial complexes’ ass so that Obama can see the futility of his terrible war in Afghanistan. Maybe the problem with Obama is his head is up his own ass, and he never wants to know the truth about his lying presidency.
