New and Improved Comments

We are launching a major overhaul of our comments section.

In addition to more robust spam filtering and moderation, new features include the ability to rate other comments, sort how they are displayed and respond directly via e-mail or in a thread.

Unfortunately, commenters will lose their existing Truthdig identities. It's a pain, we know, but on the plus side you will now be able to log in with a plethora of options, including Google, Twitter, Facebook and Disqus accounts.

Before launching this system we spent months in discussion with our top commenters. We listened to the feedback and we hope you like what we've come up with.

Please direct any problems or concerns to us via our contact page.

“If you want democracy——you will have to stick with the Left-Wing’s democratic liberal side of the spectrum,”

That’s right!  A one party system is what we need for democracy to flourish…..

Oh, Wait.

Conservative Teabagger REPUBLICANS are the epitome of EXTREME, even more EXTREME than the Conservative EXTREMIST Republicans.

The conservative, selfish, egotistical, greedy, EXTREMIST, autocratic REPUBLICANS and their more EXTREME REPUBLICAN Teabaggers are trying to fool the public by presenting a supposed choice of propaganda between good Republican/bad Republican; all are Right-Wing EXTREME Republicans.

If you want democracy——you will have to stick with the Left-Wing’s democratic liberal side of the spectrum, so that the population will be able to make democracy come to pass. Democracy comes from the Left—NEVER the Right.

Republicans take democracy away.  The autocratic conservative Right EXTREME always takes democracy away.
Democracy comes from the democratic liberal Left, only, and democracy is represented by the Democratic Party, which is somewhat off base now and needs some correctional changes.

Become a voting member in the Left-Wing’s Democratic Party and make improvements within the Democratic Party for a better democracy; e.g., remove Left-Wing conservatism, as all conservatism belongs on the Right, as NO LIBERALS are allowed on the Right.

It costs $25. for membership in the Democratic Party and membership is open to all citizens of the United States, U.S. Territories and U.S. possessions.  Make certain that you request your membership card, or your $25. will be taken for a donation, instead of membership.  Write on your check that it is payment for your Membership ONLY, which must be requested aside from donations; call and contend for your Membership Card, and your card will be sent to you, then you are a voting member, otherwise you are only a registered member.  Donations are necessary, but NO donation counts toward membership.  Being a voting member within the Democratic Party is what must happen to effect change from within.

Members of the general public will never have enough money to be members of the Republican Party; therefore, no member of the 70% American Populace should be a cuckold for Republicans.  Members of the 70% American Populace should be about getting control of the Democratic Party back from the 20% Professional Left that deserted the American Populace and formed their New Class; send the Professional Left on over to the Republican Party or make them a New Class Party, where they have chosen to be.

How? By putting the EXTREMIST REPUBLICANS back into power to finish the country off.  NOT!  The American Common Populace are not that stupid, they know it was EXTREME Conservatism that destroyed our country and it will not be EXTREME Conservatism that pulls the country back up the cliff. The Republican Party is all EXTREME Conservatism’s Conservatives.

Obama - the stealth Republican - perfect description!  I’m not even phased so much anymore by this two party (read one in the same) pretending they’re different from one another.  I’m more amazed and frustrated at the electorate who really believe there is.

Lets, see . . .  What could Obama have done already for the economy?  Repeal NAFTA (or declare it null and void, its passage was unconstitutional), tax outsourcing companies fiercely, attach strings to bank bailouts forcing them to lend to businesses (particularly small businesses), reinstate Glass-Steagal to protect the commercial banks, etc.

Obama, the stealth Republican, did none of these.  The chosen honey-toned Pied Piper was to be the vaseline to keep us from recognizing we were being screwed.  It didn’t work very well, did it?
