This is why I love Mr. Fish’s work, its so multi-layered. I mean not only does it highlight the contrast and hypocrisy of 3000 new yorkers vs the 1,000,000~ Iraqis killed, but the Title is substantial as well. “Love Thy Neighbor”... eat your heart out christian America.

The drawing is flattering of the pouter pigeon. It is the only good thing NYC’s Bloomie has done since he bought his way into office and muscles/buys what he wants.

I agree completely. It’s true it was not the first ground zero. I think they should
build a mosque, a synagogue, a church, a temple, a teepee all right there. And
that the religions should all come together under the banner of peace and
denounce terrorism and the war against terrorism. I say, if you’re gonna do it…
do it big.
It is also interesting that many people claim that the reason we are at war in the
Report thisMiddle East is to control the oil. That would be ironic because the majority of the
oil the nation uses in dedicated to winning the war. Basically means we’re inside
a black hole.

It is interesting that that was the excuse for Osama’s hatred of the US, the
military bases in Saudi Arabia, and that the contractors who built them, also
repaired Islam’s holiest mosque, in Mecca. Only muslims are allowed in this and
other muslim holy sites.
He was even more disgusted because it was his father’s company that worked
with them to do this.
He felt that the Saudi royalty had betrayed Islam by making peace with the US.
But why did he hate the US in the first place? I hesitate to go there, but I
suspect Israel and Palestine are at the heart of it.
If my memory serves me right in one of the articles on this site someone
claimed that the US is pursuing its current Middle East policy in order to create
enemies, which will lead to war, which will lead to weapons sales, which will
make a few men very rich.
It is sad that I have to incude the following disclaimer:
