Haha! This cartoon is great at depicting the ridiculousness of a mosque being put a block away from Ground Zero. I can’t believe morons are against that crap anyway.

“Shall we descend further into the desired ‘Holy Wars’ of the fundamentalists on each side or should we put personal feelings aside in favor of the well-being of the planet and future generations?”
Tell it to bin Laden.

Why can’t you decipher the undecipherable? Whose world
is this, anyway? Shall we descend further into the
desired ‘Holy Wars’ of the fundamentalists on each side
or should we put personal feelings aside in favor of
the well-being of the planet and future generations?
.... and oh yes, rico, you need to release the NUMB

Who can be against a mosque anywhere? I think they should build one on every corner in every city. I am thinking that Sharia law would be better than the confusion we have now.
I am all for it, but I am still too politically correct to say why.
Whatever, let’s get on with it. Where do I sign up? I have already bought some of those Muslim clothes for my wife and daughters. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em, right?

Seriously, where does all this “truther” stuff come from? And your “Silverstein” dig- are you a Klansman?

Report thisFred Silverstein may have something to say about this, after all
he won $8,000,000,000.00 in the well planned, not by muslims,
demolition of the wtc and for his efforts of fraud he still, I think,
is the ‘head’ owner of what is considered ‘ground zero’. But I
doubt a ‘silverstein’ would deny a mosque being built nearby as I
believe him to be compassionate, considerate and peaceful man,
especially when there is a profit to be made.

bEHOLD_tHE_mATRIX:
MY POINT WAS… (geeze!): The people who attacked the Twin Towers and the Pentagon… (why is this so hard for you to understand)... chose those targets PRECISELY because they were SYMBOLS of the blasphemous anti-religiousity of the West. (If they wanted merely to kill people they would have attacked a football stadium on Sunday afternoon.) Which is why I used the Kaaba in Mecca as my analogy: wacko Christian fundies view the Kaaba the way jihadists view symbols of Western decadence.
And gollygeewhiz. Learn to use the caps lock.

Fundamentalist Muslims attacked the WTC because it was a classic symbol of evil Western capitalism and culture. What if a bunch of fundamentalist Christians attacked the Kaaba, and ten years later some well meaning, ecumenical Christian group wanted to build a YMCA a few blocks from the site?

They HAVE been identified, just not brought to justice—YET!

Yes indeed they were evil plotting men, most likely insiders, who saw this as ends justify the means, to justify their cruel colonial plans of greed, empire, wars, fears and domination.
The saddest part of the 9/11 tragic event is that the criminals have not been identified yet after nine years and they continue to live among us, reaping the evil benefits of their plotting!
