I like the cartoon, but I don’t think many folks are thinking of Obama in re King.

Constraining the multi-nationals is beyond the ability of any entity, unless it would be God, but the atheist view would relinquish omnipotence to the multi-nationals. The multi-nationals claim to be doing the work of God, so maybe their omnipotence comes from God, but atheists would say that the multi-nationals are omnipotent in their own right, and that a non-existent God would not be a factor.
Who to believe? This question of multi-national omnipotence is a flabbergasting one. I’m befuddled.
To hell with atheists! I’ll believe the multi-nationals; they are, after all, omnipotent.

umm. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a registered Republican, and so were his father and grandfather.
They associated Republicans as the party of Abraham Lincoln. Historically, the perpetrators and the promoters of racism and racist policy in the United States have been Southern Democrats. According to Alveda C. King, who is the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Dr. King, did not align himself with The Democratic Party, for Southern Democrats were the individuals with attack dogs; cattle prods; and lynch ropes denying African-Americans their rights as they enforced the segregationist policies of Jim Crow.

funny but the comparison is unfair. Obama is a president and therefore subject to the constraints of the American political system.

And I love the background of images from 50’s-era science textbooks. Good work, Mr. Fish.
