This cartoon is a smoke screen
It diverts Imus’ comment into a “BLACK & WHITE THING” instead of on the real bigots ethnicity: JEWISH.
Imus is Jewish. He talks often about “THE TRIBE”; speaking of the ashkenazi so-called Jews.
he is not a white supremist as the cartoon’s author would like you to believe, but a JEWISH ZIONIST RASCIST.
THEM KHAZARS are slick. Instead of accepting it, they deflect the whole thing into a black white issue, instead of what it is: A ZIONIST RASCIST ISSUE

Regarding Mrs. Guthrie…
It isn’t about black people calling black people “ho” and whatnot. It’s about the stigma of a white person calling a black person “ho” or “nigger” that goes back decades into an evil time.
Perhaps terms like that have become cliche, ironic or humourous to the modern African American, but there was a time when a man like Imus would not have been ridiculed at all for his words, because there would have been thousands of white men who stood behind his words, if not merely for the sake of degrading Black people, and keeping them firmly subjugated beneath their white supremacist feet.
THAT is the reason people like Imus cannot be tolerated anymore.
I think words like “ho” and “nigger” have become kind of what the Confederate flag is for white people, except it’s not a thing of pride for Blacks, it’s sort of an ironic statement, or perhaps they just don’t understand the true context of what they’re saying. Besides as an expletive…
Perhaps, in some vague way, it’s good that these words are still being used. So we will never forget the evil of the past, and never go back to those ways.

Mrs. Guthrie, I am BENT about Imus stupid remarks and ALSO quite actively continue protesting the war criminals now in office. But heres the point. Imus is one of the spin-monkey Presstitutes paid big bucks to simply dehumanize, denigrate, and keep spin going by character assassinations of any group of people (women, minorities, ecologists, etc., who have issues with the policies of the Corporate abusers in power). I wrote to MSNBC in 2004 protest Imus’ repulsive sexism, and suggested they yank his skanky ass off the air, and wrote to him when he said:
July 16 04
Subject: Repulsive sexist sicko
To: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
Imus,
Watched your show for the first time July 16th.
Turned it off as soon as I heard these repulsive items
from your small twisted lizard lips:
Referring to
(1) Hillary Clinton as “fat, bucktoothed, married to a rapist”
(2) Tereza Heinze as a “whack job” and “crazy”
(3) Morgan Fairchild as someone you “don’t want to hose”
all of which proves yourself to be among the pack of hyenas
in this culture who hate powerful, brilliant, generous, and beautiful
women. You are among the soulless violent creeps in this culture
who find glee in denigrating excellent women in an effort to make your repulsive, ignorant, sexist, harmful, worthless existence feel some psychotic sense of power over that which you don’t have the depth of spirit or Intelligence to honor and respect.
You evidence a character that doesn’t deserve to even speak the names of these fine and excellent women, let along speak about them with your venomous tripe. All of these women have contributed great things to our Culture. You contribute nothing but stinking crap.
It saddens me that such mean-spirited twerps as yourself are given
Media jobs. You seem better suited to cleaning toilets in a white trash Trailer park of alcoholic wife beaters.
I’ll make sure to boycott Fitness Made Simple; Hotwire.com; and Lending Tree, among any other companies that would choose to sponsor your heinous drivel.
———
So, dear Mrs. Guthrie, evidently you know very little about the massive psychological shock, abuse, trauma, debilitation, etc. of one third of our feminine population by violence against women perpetuated by an ignorant patriarchal paradigm that is long overdue for erasure from Humanity’s more ignorant perspectives. This is NOT a free speech issue. I’m a huge proponent for free speech. This is about violence against women. People now fully understand that verbal abuse of women or anyone is just as damaging as physical violence. If we want to perpetuate cruelty to others instead of calling for a stop to denigrating people by unnecessary bigotry and sexist remarks made to level demean demoralize simply to support the old Boys’ Club of patriarchal abuse of power where such forms of sadism pass for making these bowlegged swagger-jerks erroneously think such behavior gives the guys a chuckle while also making their male parts feel for a second that it’s a quarter of an inch longer. Woohoo.
Anyway, anyone, including you, who thinks bigotry and sexism should be allowed to fly on airwaves paid for by the public in the name of Free Speech needs just a touch more depth of thought to give you a grip into the area of the human heart where empathy resides, then you might perceive that the bigotry and sexism Imus has delivered for YEARS over the airways is better suited being spoken in his local redneck bar with other white trash ignorant arrogant punks. Yes, Imus is a punk perpetuating the “stupid cruel White American” stereotype. By the way, I’m a 63-year-old white woman who deeply believes in Free Speech and embraces our country’s great intentions in creating The Bill of Rights, which Imus and his ilk, and Republicans in general seem to have forgotten exists and is the Heart of our Democracy (may she R.I.P.).

Mrs. Charlton,
You would admit that some black women do indeed call eachother “ho” no? Maybe not consistently in your circles but in the L.A. area I have heard it repeatedly, among other derogatory remarks, in addition to reality TV shows where I see black women do so.
They may not consciously accept it as an accurate description of themselves, but many black women might do so subconsciously for various reasons and this is why they use the word in a playful manner with one another. Imus also used it in a playful manner. I think the root of problems need to be addressed. The root would be black people’s use of derogatory comments for themselves. I don’t think Imus would have said it otherwise.
Maybe my condemning people for this is very helpful, and so what if I have added further offense? People allow themselves to be offended. They can choose to take offense or be at peace with themselves.
You wrote: “Perhaps we shouldnt PAY someone for being nasty, slanderous and racist.” Who is we? Was the American public paying this man’s salary?

Report thisMrs. Guthrie, what do you consider yourself ,a “cracker bitch” or a “nappy head ho” ? Or do those labels just apply to other people? And by the way, not only have I protested against this equally ignorant administration, but I am a veteran and have served this country dutifully.

Sigh…
Mrs Guthrie, while much of what you say is true and you make some valid points regarding attacks on virtue and the uplifting of liars and murders, I can assure you that Black women do NOT call themselves “ho” on a consistent basis or accept it as an accurate description of themselves.
As a Black woman, I have NEVER done so, and neither have any of my sisters, other relatives, friends or associates. It is an insult that shouldn’t be tolerated from ANY ignorant nincompoop who says it. I don’t care enough about Imus to demand any action be taken against him (he’s merely proving what he is), and I’m not certain that anyone has suggested he be burned at the stake.
We all have priorities to work on, but condemning people for being properly offended—particularly by adding further offense—isn’t helpful.
Freedom of speech? Fine. But perhaps we shouldn’t PAY someone for being nasty, slanderous and racist.

Look, Imus’s remark is an example of a society gone sour. What I heard is he not only thinks it’s funny and ok to insult black athletes, but also to insult women—like the rappers do. Men ought to wise up. And NBC (probably largely male dominated) made a huge mistake by taking a two-week time out to assess how his firing might affect their bottom line. If I were a woman, I’d be outraged and if I were a Black woman, I’d have to work very hard to control my anger. After we complete the civil and womens’ rights movements, we need to start a civility movement and the place to start is with mens’ attitudes toward women.

To watch the Imus show is to time machine back a thousand years to the kingdom of Imus. His power on the set or throne has not been questioned or challenged in decades. The jestors bow and cater to his every whim. He insults the idiots at MSN that pay him millions. If he likes your book it could mean millions. He (like G.W.)has been living in regal bliss for so long he has no idea of the world around him. Why do we watch this old cowhand or tolerate this prez?

Don Imus is a jerk. He makes his living by being a jerk. While I used to listen to him regularly, I got tired of his stupid antics and switched to something else. It’s clear he hasn’t changed much. The sad thing about all of this is that he’ll probably end up with more listeners than before, at least for a while.

In the United States, a person can attack Jesus, the Catholic Church, and uplift liars and murderers (The Bush Administration), but if a white guy happens to call a black woman as a “ho” angry mobs call for him to be fired and burned at the stake. Black women call themselves “ho” on a consistent basis, and black men sing about this in rap songs. Big deal, Imus is an ignorant nincompoop but freedom of speech must ring and reign.
Did these same people who are so bent over his stupid remark also protest in numbers against the war crimes of the Bush Administration or call for Impeachment? I bet many did not. Americans need to get their priorities right side up.
