Hey, Ben, you coarse, insensitive sexist bigoted numbnut, FYI, I stopped listening to Imus four years ago because of his hideous sexist remarks. Did he scar me for life? No. I’m quite familiar with the evils of bigotry and sexism that continue to rear their vicious ignorant damaging head in this collectively backward, ignorant culture. And when I see it happen I speak out, talk truth to power, contact the CEOs of companies supporting psychotic, leveling, hateful comments by thuggish fools, hoping that chip by chip, all of us who care about the dignity of humanity will eventually tear down the divisive walls that create violence and pain in our society. It’s guys like you that keep the the psychotic strain of sexism and bigotry alive in our culture that should by now be far more evolved. So don’t lay out your sarcastic remarks implying anyone finding offense with Imus’ comments is traumatized by a 30 second remark. The damage is systemic. The REAL issue here is that there are guys like you in our society who condone the Imus psychotic view of “others” that allows insulting leveling remarks to keep on keeping on their trash worldview alive. YOU ARE SCARRED FOR LIFE FOR AS LONG AS YOU SUPPORT AND CONDONE THE BIGOTS AND SEXISTS IN OUR CULTURE. I’m a 63 year old white woman with a Master’s Degree in English Lit who spent a life experiencing many instances of the groteque sexism of our culture, and have tried along with all people dedicated to Human Rights to do whatever I can to call attention to the insanity of bigotry and sexism that weakens and destoys the well-being and prosperity of the country. You just got put on notice, pal, to get your head out of your ass.
