New and Improved Comments

We are launching a major overhaul of our comments section.

In addition to more robust spam filtering and moderation, new features include the ability to rate other comments, sort how they are displayed and respond directly via e-mail or in a thread.

Unfortunately, commenters will lose their existing Truthdig identities. It's a pain, we know, but on the plus side you will now be able to log in with a plethora of options, including Google, Twitter, Facebook and Disqus accounts.

Before launching this system we spent months in discussion with our top commenters. We listened to the feedback and we hope you like what we've come up with.

Please direct any problems or concerns to us via our contact page.

MeHere,

This is an excellent, very creative and to the point comment.

Wonderful Mr. Fish! I might add that most keyboards including most acoustic
ones use plastic keys today. Some come very close in finger tip sensing to the feel
of real ivory like those on my Steinway B.  I don’t mind the switch to plastic on my
midi controllers for bookings. The Republicans beat the digital keyboard
manufacturers of today by switching over to faux ivory decades ago.

Or a cartoon depicting the face of a donkey but the body of an elephant ( for today’s political power position )... and if ( hopefully NOT ) the Repugs get elected in 2012, then the face of an elephant and the body of a donkey….

Oh, how I wish to see a viable third party which BOTH heads of the ONE party will lambaste, ridicule and name-call… for that will be a SURE sign that THAT third party will actually be for the people!

We can all wish and have dreams, right?  At least they can’t take that away from ya, unless you let them.

Succinct, direct and true. I would not expect anything less from
