bin laden ans Saddam are not creations of the USA, kid. they were fine
upstanding products of the Arab peoples of the Middle East…...no way around
that,
Hiroshima and Nagasaki produced just about enough to end the war on the Us’s
terms and a shitload less than an invasion of the Japanese islands would have
produced.
my examples of people who could be killed w/o much being lost were there for
purpose of establishing an ethical calculus that would render their departure
via dispatch far less objectionable than that of the average teenaged Syrian
student.
it wasn’t to undertake a larger debate.

Lets see, the first two are creations of the US.
Stalin? he died of a heart attack.
Pol Pot? You can blame the US for a fair amount of that as well, both for wildly destabilizing Indochina from the 50’s through the 70’s and then making sure the Khmer Rouge kept a seat in the UN for close to 20 years after Vietnam deposed them and installed a pro Moscow government. Proving anti commie trumps genocidal freak in the State Depts eyes.
Truman? How many body bags does Hiroshima and Nagasaki produce?

rend—- been paying a fair bit of attention for 10
years and more.
killing bin Laden or Saddam Hussein or Stalin or Pol
Pot doesn’t strike me as the same as killing Gandhi or
Truman.
(killing Cheney I could go either way on.)

Guess my book is smaller, killing is killing. War is merely an poorly assemble excuse to kill
Report thiswith impunity and make some pocket change. If the last decade hasn’t taught you that you

yeah, I DO qualify dead bodies. I wholeheartedly believe that killing your own
and killing unarmed innocents is worse than is engaging in warfare.
Not a fan of any of them, but they ain’t all the same in my small book of ethics.

You qualify dead bodies? a dead person is a dead person. There are enough body bags

sorry rend, but there ain’t a US president in the last 50 years what has had
thousands of US citizens killed because they protested.

Thanks to the Obama presidency I’m finally awake to the left wing of the warmongering machine…and Thanks to Truthdig and DemocracyNow for blatantly supporting it and finally waking me up to the left/wing paradigm!

Pity the mainstream media doesn’t report on the States, Britain, and France channeling weapons through Turkey to the Syrian opposition.

one could easily photoshop anyone of the US presidents heads from the last 50 years onto Assads torso and have the carpet say “USA.”
Carpet would need to be way bigger to cover all the bodies.
