yeah this is real cool.. I’d like to see more of this.  I hate how the richest .5% are solely responsible for the majority of the worlds poverty and live there lives as if they have obligation to help

Yep, the guy should clean up around him, beggar guys on the street could learn from those guys in Congress. Opportunism is one way of showing pride!

After all if one is begging, they should plant some roses or something.

Those damn beggars, all they do is beg, they could eat their dogs or sell their shopping carts, one should see futures in shopping carts.

Happy New Year Fish and crew and of course all you fanatical posters out there!

Mr. Fish & friends,

While I also look forward to an eventual evolution from our wholly greed based
economic system, we shouldn’t deny the positive value of personal initiative.

For instance, one of the things I thought of when I saw the begging man was “why
doesn’t he just pick up all that crap around him so he at least has a cleaner place
to sit?”

A more clever man would have probably have probably done that out of personal
pride, and then found someone who could use it.

Awesome, hopefully next year we will have a more positive cartoon for a more positive year. In any case wonderful, and thank you truthdig for the investigative reporting you don’t stop for a second to give.
