Take the cries of pandemic and state of emergency with a grain of salt.  A figure of 90,000 deaths from swine flu sounds horrendous, but consider that flu is estimated to kill about 36,000 Americans each year anyway, that the 90,000 is the high end guess, and that 70% of those in the US who have died from flu have had either congenital conditions or pre-existing serious illnesses.  Most of the other deaths are among the elderly and others with weakened immune systems.  In spite of the killer swine flu, this year Australia expects to finish the winter with under 1000 flu deaths, fewer than their typical 1500-3000.

Claims for the effectiveness of flu vaccines in general are based on questionable reasoning and science.  See Does the Vaccine Matter? from the November 2009 Atlantic.

The HIN1 vaccine has not even been tested scientifically let alone proven to work.  Each time there’s a new version of the virus, a new vaccine must be created. They can’t test it thoroughly so they just shoot up the guinea pigs and claim success.

There is nothing to fear but fear itself.

Good Luck Mr Luckovich - live in fear, spread the fear and innoculate yourself to
your heart’s content.

But leave us the freedom and right to choose what poisons we refuse to have
injected into our own bodies without your shameless guilt mongering.

To vaccinate or not vaccinate has been the hardest struggle I have endured as a parent. I can’t imagine you have done any research on the risks of vaccination or that you have struggled with this decision as a parent. Heartless cartoon. Parents deal with enough guilt. Mr. Lukovich, do your research and spend a day with families who have been injured by vaccines. There might not be enough days left in your life to spend with all those who have been injured. They are numerous. We care deeply about our babies. Which is why we do our research and don’t let doctors inject them with whatever the FDA barely tests. Has there been enough time at all to test H1N1? I think not. Meanwhile guinea pigs in the form of toddlers are getting stuck with who-knows-what. Sickening, insulting, disgusting cartoon.

How offensive and ignorant can this cartoon be???I have two, children who received the mercury laden immunizations because, I trusted the government, the drug industry and was being a good citizen and mother by protecting them and other children from disease…Both of these children have had speech disorders, learning disabilities, and have had to get support from the school districts…This support was hardly support at all…The two other children who did not get the mercury laden immunizations didn’t have problems like this…There is a lot of actual real information out there about this flu, the drug companies, and the makeup of the vaccine…If you did any research, and were able to actually use critical thinking skills you would see that the paranoia is not unfounded, or about conspiracy nut cases…It’s amazing how propaganda to dismiss documented reality, is so easily used against people who question the intention, authority and reality of what is being fed to us as truth..I have enjoyed some of the political cartoons, but this one is truely offensive, even evil…Did you get money for this propaganda, or are you only a ignorant tool?

The CDC said the H1N1 vaccine hasn’t been tested.  As someone said, “Do you want to be a guinea pig?” or your kid?  My sympathies to the parents of, and kids hurt by vaccines…

I work at a pharmacist and have talked to some of the pharmacists there about the new vaccine. They said they’ve heard mixed opinions from doctors, and several of them aren’t going to use the vaccine for their kids. I am comfortable with most vaccines, and I got a normal flu shot this year. But with something new like this, I wonder if it’s not just an attempt to give people something that they feel they need. It may not actually work. So I’m uncertain about the newness of this particular vaccine.

My feelings exactly.

The good news is that there is enough room in hell

for all of these betrayers, the bad news is that they

don’t get there soon enough.

What is different about this swine flu hoax is that
the

criminals foisting it on the public have been granted

immunity. The last time the scam was run, President

Ford was a shill for the miscreants. After hundreds

died & others became paralyzed, the vaccination were

stopped because of fear of wrongful death lawsuits.

While Ford was a judas goat, Bush 3 declares a

national emergency to shock, awe & to stampede the

lemmings into the MIPIC: MEDICAL INSURANCE

PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX coffers. Timing the

swine flu cozenage with the “regular” flu money maker

to add more panic & confusion is working like a

charm. Back in May the WHO chief says world should

prepare for severe flu, so we know that the way folks

are lining up for hours to “protect” themselves &

their children, that this is not only an obvious

hoax, but a “practice run” when the NWO wants to

get rid of a billion useless feeders & make money at

the same time. Who knows, how many will die this

time, & what was the poison used.

Mr. Lukovich, have you sold your soul to the devil?
I have never seen the likes of this crap, coming from someone so against the system of healthcare in this country.
Your cartoon of this day sir, is an abomination to all those who have died and are injured daily as a result of the vaccine. Vaccines are made from live versions of the virus we are inoculating against, how in the world do you or anyone not expect to become seriously and violently ill from something that is foreign to the
human body?  Are you certain of your facts or just another shill for the pharmaceutical companies?
For this cartoon is such a load of booshwa! I will now remember this day, a day of infamy and sadness, for this is the day you have sold your soul for the price of ‘thirty pieces of silver.’

Russian Paul,

There was also an"ER” episode paid for by infant formula companies, in which an “irresponsible mother” insisted on nursing, instead of feeding her newborn baby formula!

Johannes,

Similarly, look at the Amish communities here.

In my country of birth, the Netherlands are living still some groups in villages to gether who are very deep beliefing Christians.

They don’t inject their children against any illness,
they have no insurances, but they live happely and more healty as the rest of the people in the country,
but they are allways used as the filling of Journals and other stupid Journalistme.

They have not more deads than other Dutch people, some illnesses are not to be found at all, so, the big pharmaceutical industries don’t like this kind of people, so, put them down, and all methodes are allowed and so applied, I lived under them I have learned a lot of things from them, to be headstrong if you belief in your case.

This reminds me of a recent Law and Order episode that was sponsored by the Bill
and Melinda Gates Foundation (no joke) where a mother is tried for murder
because she didn’t vaccinate her daughter, who infected another kid who died.
Like this cartoon, it basically implies if you question what’s in the vaccine, you’re
a nut, and if you don’t take it, you’re just as bad as a deliberate spreader of hiv.

I wish that could be funny.  But as the parent of a vaccine injured child and a professional who works with children with autism everyday, your cartoon just makes me miserable.

So if you question the safety of this vaccine, or the ethics of the companies
producing it you’re a child killer?

This is ridiculous.
