MR Fish…..The J-man did not die either for or because of our sins. He did not die at all. To die you have to have lived. And the J-man never lived.
To live, you have to be born of a mother and father and be corporeal. The J-man in the story was neither born, having not had a biolgical father, or corporeal as He was supposedly ‘God’.
So a very basic tennant of Christianity does not pass any test of intellectual integrity.

Another catholic joke.

There were four catholic men and a catholic woman
seated at a table playing bingo in the church
basement.

The first man says, “My son is a priest.  When he
walks into a room, people say “Father.”

The second man says, “Well my son is a bishop and
when he walks into a room people say, “Your Grace.”

“Look here”, the third man says, “my son is a
cardinal.  When he walks into a room people say,
“Your Eminence.”

“Let me tell you”, the forth man said, “my son is the
Pope and when he walks into a room people say, “Your
Holiness.”

The woman remains silent until one of the men asks,
“Well, what do you have to say for your self?”

The woman doesn’t look up from the table but says
matter-of-factly, “I have a daughter.  She’s blond,
38DD-24-36.  When she walks into a room people say,
“My God!”

And he continues to die for them everyday, as a Palestinian child shot by an Israeli soldier, as an Afghani Woman in a fundamentalist society, as a child in Africa born with HIV, as a farm worker in Honduras, as a Black Katrina victim in the land of the free… as a former assembly-line worker in Detroit who lost it all in the Reagan 80’s and to Bush’s 1000 points of light in the globalized Corporate NWO, and for the insurgent “Terrorist” formerly known as “Freedom fighter” in Afghanistan killed by a CIA drone trying to preserve his culture and way of life from being changed to the “American Way”.
