It might be possible to out run the militarist fools but nonviolent protest will
not stop war. Eventually someone will nuke Rome or Mecca and the game that
they have drooled over since Abraham will be afoot. I intend to hit the frontier
at a dead run and keep going until sol is just an obscure light in the sky.

The LRAD ear-shattering sonic cannon used on the peaceful G-20 protesters probably influenced this cartoon.

Either this is “Margaret Thatcher”-like: as in “nothing can be done” (here, against militarism) or, it suggests the peace movement has had it’s (I can’t say “head”) leadership cut off….or it’s anything the viewer finds in it. I hope nonviolence, protest is greater than the military in the long run. If not, we are in deepest ....mess.
