There are many more ME’s than WE’s, it is time to turn the table, as the United States needs more WE’s than ME’s for democracy to exist and the only way democracy will exist is when the ME’s realize they are the WE’s—the MAJORITY COMMON POPULATION.
Per Ralph Nader, “It is time to decisively shift power from the few to the many. Democratic power is the essence of progressive political philosophy, and the precondition for the emergence of a just society nourished by higher public expectations.”
“How to begin? Progressives—elected, civic, labor and funders—need to come together in a national convention to aggregate the existing forces for change. Such a gathering could create a clear-eyed vision of the common good to shatter debilitating public cynicism and passivity.”

Brilliant, Mr. Fish. Definitely a literal pic of the P-Burg G-20 protests and also the larger picture of the bullsht issues in general that are drowning out true progressive reform.
America has become a cowed, lazy nation that cares more about NASCAR and the NFL than it does its own children.

This cartoon is simple but absolutely brilliant. It reminds us what we’re all fighting for in life.
