America is just a place, there are many places that are better and many that
are worse. Leaving is not that difficult and then you are no longer responsible
for the fiat money debt. Loving America is expensive, leaving is profitable. Like
the 1930’s Germans we can still get out, we should thank them for the
warning…

I remember when I was against the Bush war I was called unpatriotic and told ”
America love it or leave it”  Now we are being told that to protest is patriotic
and very American.  Oh how things have changed.

Perhaps it was when the democrats took over congress that spending went through the roof… Democrats want to be led and fed by the government. So far as everyone disliking Obama being a racist, that seems to be the only argument his supporters have. It couldn’t be based on his socialist/communist policies… No, that would be ridiculous

So the dozens of pictures of Bush as a monkey were because he was black?
Damn, I thought it was because he is an idiot.

I think given the obvious racial venn om that is being spewed by some of the
right wingers is nothing short of bigotry at it’s finest. The idiots who are trying
to shy away from the fact that a picture of the President as a monkey or an
undocumented worker are obviously racially motivated, snd just proves that
most of these cowards are nothing more than the KKK members of old hiding
their faces behind white sheets. This is not about Presidednt’s Obama policies,
this is personal attacks based on his heritage and yes the fact that he is
BLACK! The Republicans are using the most mentally unbalanced members of
our society and fueling them with fear and hatred in a climate that is already a
powder keg in their lives just waiting for a spark to ignite this evil. Please
know, all of you who are supporting the racist propoganda, that you are
pushing this toward a RACE and CLASS WAR situation where the white race will
be the minority because there are a lot more “Brown” people in this country. I
really don’t think they are ready for the reprecussions that their language and
their actions will set off in this country.

I Want My America Back

As an Indian I find that statement offensive, it is not ‘his’ America it is stolen
Indian land. You live in an evil empire, get used to it.

This “cartoon” is just plain stupid.  It is an intellectually challenged, moronic, sophomoric attempt at something, but I am not sure what.

Republican and democratic presidents are two sides of the same coin, and it ain’t in your pocket.

Where’s the ‘toon asking “where are the liberals who protested Bush, now that Obama is supporting Bush policies?”

Re. John Darkow’s cartoon

Your depiction of conservatives as racists is about as far off the mark as you can get. Nothing has been said or illustrated about Obama that wasn’t said or illlustrated about Bush by the liberals for 8 yrs. In fact, this group march on Washington was more orderly than liberal demonstrations.

Regarding the bank bailouts: If you are amoung the 60% who pay taxes in this country, you are in the business of insuring banks. If a bank fails, you must pay each depositor for every account for which he has a different POD beneficiary. That’s $250,000 FDIC insurance for each account. It could easily be in the millions of dollars per individual if set up correctly. So, we as taxpayers will pay big time if banks fail, or we can bail them out and hope they prosper to pay us back which some are already starting to do. The choice seems obvious.

Regarding other bailouts by both Bush and Obama: Neither has bothered to explain why we can’t just let big businesses fail. If they made bad investments they should fail just like you and I would if we made bad investments. Of course, if the bulk of their bad investments are gov. backed loans with worthless borrowers, then we will have to pay for that too.

Most marchers on Washington on 9/12/09 were protesting out of control spending by both administrations and the picking up speed on this by the Obama administration. Enough is enough. The consequences for this country and future generations is too dire.

On the Obama-Hitler meme, that seems to have been started by the Larouche organization.  While it’s over the top, as are many of his statements—that seems to be his pedagogic technique, it should be noted that the Larouchians were calling for Bush/Cheney impeachment from the getgo.

Also, there is no doubt that his Homeowners and Bank Protection Act would have prevented our economic collapse—at least to non-fantasy based economists.
