Was it Hippocrates that said a doctor’s role is to distract the patient while the body heals?

Too test leading to too many misdiagnosis. Too many misprescribings. Too many that cannot afford insurance. Too many with insurance not fully protected anyway (extortion coverage is not included). The current American health scare system is overpriced barbarism.
