Aha, my hero, Lenny Bruce. I saw him on stage right after JFK was killed. He said he wouldn’t say anything about it, except that Vaughn Meader’s career was “fucked” (the guy who imitated JKF’s voice commercially). Someone ran up on stage and some big
guy removed him quickly. I thought it was part of an act, but no, it was someone in the audience. It was a big theater on 2nd Ave: Fillmore East.

I saw L.Bruce on the street (Greenwich Ave.,NYC) carrying
some brown paper covered laundry and he looked really miserable. I wanted to say something, but
decided to not bother the guy. Not long after, he
died in CA.

Way to go Mr. Fish. Morphing into a shark, are you? Entirely appropriate in this age of timidity and accommodation to Americorp’s agenda (screw us while pretending to be our protector).
