What a sad but true depiction of war both now and in history! Oh I still shake my head in amazement that such a world exists when there is so much love to give if each and everyone of us would realize our own potential to support those who cannot. I am a capitalist by choice and yet I have a responsibility to encourage and support those have not had the opportunity or love that I have had. Equally I am not a radical in respect of religion, however I do expect that there will always be some who through fear, violence or loss of hope take this route. How do we moderate our own behaviors to minimize the extreme views of others?

Yes, and the very Christian Barack Obama, who’s been invoking the name of his God more than Bush did, using his deceiving rhetorical skills, is adding the word “holy” to the word “shit”, so the final product would be the “holy shit you can count on!”

Reminds me of a photo of my dad, in a wheelchair, at a group event, (unknown event) at a VA hospital in late 1940s. The wheelchair in the photo and the cartoon, and my wheelchair are pretty much the same. Yes, there are power (battery) wheelchairs; they cost as much as a car for those that can do “tricks” like get you off a curb without a curbcut (raises up and has gyroscope so you don’t roll over, chair weighing over 120 lbs. landing on top of you),invented by the guy who invented the Segway scooter (sold it to Johnson and Johnson), not covered by Medicare/Medicaid).
So, most folks are using the wheelchair that still looks like the one in drawing, if using a manual chair.
Do you know you can’t roll a wheelchair on sand, etc?

If this kind of comic strip was in the NY Times, I would be a subscriber.
