Chaney won’t go away because he has just got to put down Obama because Chaney (in my opinion) ran the presidency and he just cannot give it up.
Chaney probably really wanted to become president but his personality just would have gotten in the way might have been his smile.

Funny, whether or not it will confuse anyone is beside the point. The corporate media, on the other hand, acts like Cheney is still VP.
