sad to see these majestic creatures in such a bad plight. Global warming and world-wide climate change is slowly removing them from existence, bit by bit. Many are now fleeing to warmer and safer climates in attempt to avoid extinction.

You cannot cheat Mother Nature.
I read a book (some fiction some fact) about Tobacco Farmers, in farming tobacco you have to use a new plot of ground every five years or so. So the overseer thought he would save time and energy by putting cattle on the plot and the manure would enrich the soil. The owner found out that his tobacco crop was burned because the tobacco was not sweet because of the overuse of cattle manure.
You cannot cheat Mother Nature.

Sea Ice [ARCTIC] Ends Year at Same Level as 1979
Antarctic sea ice increasing: study
Okay, emotionalism replaces factual analysis. Propaganda replaced fact-finding years ago.
Oh, the Polar Bears, what will they do?
I guess they never got caught on ice flows over the last 100 million years of life at the north.
If you’re really concerned about polar bears and their well being, perhaps you should confront the real serious risk to their continued existence: people shooting them with high powered rifles.
Propagandandistic appeals to emotion are just that. No thanks.
The people pushing the global warming theory have a vested political interest in pushing carbon taxes onto our backs. That’s the motive. Their process is corrupt: the IPCC censors out all opposing testimony from thousands of skeptical scientists who point out the obvious.
The leaders of the global warming cult, particularly Michael Mann (not the film director) have been caught promoting FRAUDULENT TEMPERATURE DATA. Mann’s “hockey stick” data was false. Yet, he remains a top insider in this political battle.
Al Gore similarly misled an audience of millions in his movie. The carbon levels in the ice cores FOLLOW changes in temperature, and therefore cannot be considered the CAUSE of the temperature changes. Gore was blatantly vague and deceitful in his presentation, never explaining this reality where carbon levels can lag by thousands of years after the temperature has changed.
Skepticism is healthy. Mindless ditto-headedness is a serious problem across the political spectrum.

The American Indians are probably the most spiritual people on the planet. They understand the relationship of “Mother” Earth with all its creations - plants, animals and humans. The Indians have a beautiful way of greeting all life - they call all animals and plants…“my relatives”.
We, the White Man have raped the earth for profit….pure and simple. A scientist I met last year has a vessel complete with a small submarine and does ocean research. He told me that his ship studied the Atlantic Ocean and discovered that it is already “fished out”!! Even the submarine could not find any fish….only the tracks on the bottom of the ocean from the net wheels which are rolled along on the sea floor. The American Indian always respected the balance and would never “take” too much. They always “blessed” the animal, such as a buffalo killed, and bid to “see it” again as a young calf next Spring.
While everyone is “worried” about “finances” our earth’s ecological systems are dying! Remember, one cannot “eat” gold. Today… Earth Day… let us all recognize our tragedy and than contemplate possible solutions.
One solution is to boycott all corporations which pollute and rape Mother Earth. Top of the list would be the largest landowner in the world - Weyerhaeuser which has through the practice of mono crop forestry destroyed our western forests, [The consequences of planting Douglas Fir trees for three or four generations means the soil is so depleted of nutrients that the trees are literally falling over.] Other corporations like Mansanto, the agricultural giants which have destroyed our soil with mono crop agriculture, pesticide and fertilizer companies, chemical companies which pollute and of course, all fossil fuel companies we should avoid so that they die. Eat from our own gardens and local organic farms. Demand diversity in agricultural and forestry plantings - this enriches the soils!
Another solution is to rid our federal government of politicians who protect the polluters and greedy corporations; we need to have a truly representative “republic” form of government returned. At the present time big business controls Congress; you and I are not being represented.
Also, by sending this Youtube video to as many people as possible…..including politicians, CEOs and board members of corporations it may help bring the “best” out of us all. Than together we can help our beautiful Mother Earth be restored .....as well as all our “relatives”.

Maybe they can swim but they cannot sit in the water and wait for a sea lion to pop up out of the water.
And adults might be able to swim 200 miles but not the cubs.

Polar bears can swim out to 200 miles from land. They developed that ability through evolution—for a reason.
IT’S NORMAL FOR POLAR BEARS TO HAVE TO SWIM.

Yup. (But a ma and cub would be good since, until now, adults are solo; who knows with the ice melting/melted.
