hey Vegdude get over yourself. All religion has done is create war. ALl republicans are doing lately is doing anything BUT being responsible and raising taxes where neccessary to STOP economic destruction. Also really? EVERY SINGLE WORD FROM ANY RELIGION has come from the mouth of MAN not god MAN. So really, stop blaming liberals for hating you. Everyone WHO realizes the atrocities and CORRUPTION that COMES from religion hates you. and EVERY SINGLe one of your crap politicians work FOR THEMSELVES..

As a former “christian” myself, this cartoon hits a home run. All religions are hypocritical in the fact that they teach peace, but practice fear, hate, and murder. Christians preach that God is forgiving, yet will torture everyone for eternity if they do not give their soul to his “son.” Wait a sec, that seems to be exactly what this toon says. How about that. Get over yourself dude!

It would be nice if those wishing to critique Christianity (or Islam or any other religion or system of belief) would take the time to understand it first. “Easter” and “Easter bunnies” are not a part of biblical Christianity in the first place, and according to the Bible all of us have failed to love God with all of our being and to love our neighbor as ourselves, and, as our actions have eternal consequences, so will the justice (and the mercy) we will receive from God. Of course, it’s much easier to make fun of something than to try to truly understand it, but it really comes across as sounding like bigotry and hate . . the very things that “liberal” and “progressive” thinkers are supposedly against.
