Ah! A straw bunny!

It would be nice if those wishing to critique Christianity (or Islam or any other religion or system of belief) would take the time to understand it first.  “Easter” and “Easter bunnies” are not a part of biblical Christianity in the first place,  and according to the Bible all of us have failed to love God with all of our being and to love our neighbor as ourselves, and, as our actions have eternal consequences, so will the justice (and the mercy) we will receive from God.  Of course, it’s much easier to make fun of something than to try to truly understand it, but it really comes across as sounding like bigotry and hate . . the very things that “liberal” and “progressive” thinkers are supposedly against.

Oy, Mr. Fishstein, that’s stickin’ it to da’ goy! But how’s com’ no such funny funnies tooz commemorate Trashover when da’ Heeb’s dyed dere doorknobs all red and dey told dere dad to kill all dem Egyptian kids and ever since they be killin’ all dem Palestinian kids and anyone else dey can get dere hands on, forever n’ ever!
