Although I had a wonderful laugh at this cartoon, the GOP threat can still happen - and IS happening as we speak, aided and abetted by the “liberal” media.

Pres. Obama stands that tall because of his popularity among the American people. No way anyone can go straight after him without becoming the enemy of the people.

In order to take down this incredibly popular Democratic President, they need to destroy his popularity with the masses. I, as many others like those at Media Matters, have seen the overt campaign the GOP and the MSM are zealously pursuing to do just that since his inauguration.

Folks, as funny as this cartoon is, the threat by those tiny GOPers can still happen.

Just remember that the banks got the money from the taxpayers and then got bonuses, fine if the company is doing great, but this seems like a reward for failure.

The loans were a switch and bait thing, in other words common sense in lending was thrown out the window, and then the people who wanted the loans were the fall guys.

Great to lend to small income lenders, but they should have a job that will substain the loan.  And the credit people had a hand in the bait and switch also.

So these bankers got their money with out any transparency.  Now the Repubs don’t want any more money given out to the people who are hurting the most.

And when the auto industry wanted a bail out the workers just had to have a pay cut.

But then the Repubs don’t want the workers to have too much. Somebody has to pay the taxes surely the rich think they should not pay taxes.  I mean those in the stock market who have extra to invest then they do not want to pay taxes.  Don’t work for their money and don’t want to pay taxes, that is for the middle class.  The taxpayers are supporting the thiefs.
