This Bush/Obama transition peroid is seems to be the longest in history. We progressives and much of the nation seem to be holding our breaths awaiting the departure of Bush so we can let out a sigh of relief. Only a week and a half to go but it still seems like an eternity.

1-21-2009: A NEW DAWN. And none too soon.
