As for Mexico, here’s an idea: How about we give their country aid and support—NOT corruption, weapons, the DEA, or fuel for righteous anger—and try to work with them cooperatively to boost their country up to a point where it’s a liveable place and then they don’t WANT to come to the U.S.? “No, let’s just build a wall and shoot anyone that tries to climb it. And let’s go shoot the people who are building our houses and doing our yardwork.” Smart.

November is Native American Heritage Month, but you probably have never heard of it as it never gets much publicity from the media outlets. I guess we are not PC enough to get mention.

I look at this country and this world today with amazement that what a lot of dumb people consider the apex or crowning achievement of the human race is this ‘modern’ world we live in and I cannot agree at all. There is more suffering, more misery and more evil people even if the % of bad people is say 10% of the world’s population. These scum have weaseled their way into the positions of power that allow them to create the hell on earth that is evident everywhere today.
People so boosted by a hubris that is nothing less than destructive and not meant for a world with so many people in it. Politics protects the rotten, religion protects those that are so weak they have no understanding what it means other than the population just has to keep growing and growning and growing. No end in sight. Someone answer me this: just how much longer can the environment keep up with the human demands on it? People have become so stupid that for some insane reason it is ingrained in us that no human should die. I have read a letter to a newpaper editor once with some brilliant cue ball proclaiming that death is the most ‘unnatural’ thing in the world. How much longer can a civilization exist with that kind of mentality?
Any indigenous people that practiced the hunter gatherer life and worshipped the very world as the evidence of a greater spirit or god and prayed to it, was the end game of the better life.
Now, no one seems to care except how much oil can we pump out to keep all those internal combustion engines running. How fewer people can control the natural resources not for the benefit of society but for the enrichment of the few. These are the things that the thing called money that was invented to ‘help’ societies coexist but has done nothing but produce a portion of people that uses it for a perverted control of others.
What was it in the bible near the end, or some prophet of the past, the apocolypse would happen in 2000 years. I cannot help but think that wherever that thought came from, that it was what someone thought would be the over population of humans.

Especially now, with all the repugs disrespecting our fellow animals, whom the First Peoples considered as brothers. Perfect example of these acts are the Bush/Cheney repeal of environmental acts regarding wolves, polar bears, water pollution, clean air acts, just to start with and don’t forget the loud mouth from Alaska Sarah Palin where they are just now getting into wolf slaughter season from airplanes no less!

Since these illegal squatters came to this land, they have done nothing but destroy the way of life of the indigenous peoples, refuse to allow they to worship in their traditional way and forced Christianity or death upon those who did not change(really nice of them since the invaders didn’t speak the language)killed the culture, wolves, buffalo, forced the people to other parts of the country where most died from disease brought in from other countries and allowed them to live-sometimes- on reservation in some of the harshest environments in this country, infected them with the blanket fever, and even into the 1970 went into the reservations and took the girls from the families and had them sterilized in their goal of totally eliminating these original people. And that is not even the tip of the iceberg.

Yes, we had bad immigration laws bad then.

But for the present, fuck walls!  Repeal NAFTA and bring economic justice back to Mexico, a fast track to citizenship and living wages to all immigrants who want to stay in the US.
