Obama’s task is to consolidate the politial counterrevolution of the Bushites under the Dems.  the bougeois Democracy of pre-Bush is dead. We are now into military imperialism and military dictatorship.

This is not acknowledged or even mentioned in the mainstream truth, including the mainstream progressive truth.  Just as the Roman Republic changed into the Roman Empire with all the outward Republican instititutions intact, but drained of power, so the US has been transformed into a new form of bipartisan police state.  Functioning under the codewords of Freedom and Democracy.

Anyone really believe this headline? Especially after soon-to-exit Bu$hCo accused the Clintons of stealing furniture among other fabrications? Accountability Herr Bu$h. It’s what’s for breakfast ~ soon.

On BreaktheMatrix.com I found this video of conversation with Ron Paul and Alex Jones.  More and more people are seeing the things Paul has been talking about over the years are the way things really are.  http://www.breakthematrix.com/BreakTheMatrix/Ron-Paul-on-The-Alex-Jones-Show-Prepare

I believe it will accelerate.

Obama will do nothing to repair the constitution, the cartoon is a fantasy.

He could announce right now, or he could have announced in his victory speech, and intention to repeal the Patriot Act, or even the worst parts of the act.

Don’t hold you breath waiting on that.

Do you recall the line in the victory speech “Change will be slow, maybe not in one term”.  Obama is a 100% fraud.

Considering Obama’s public support for the USA Patriot Act (citing the same bullshit rhetoric that Bush did long ago about it “giving authorities the tools they need”) and his vote for the FISA bill, he won’t restore the constitution any more than Bush did. You can bet he won’t repeal the Patriot Act, or Patriot Act 2, or the Military Commissions Act, or the John Warner Defense Authorization Act, or any other rotten piece of legislation that has ripped the Constitution to shreds.

While previously he could weasel out of responsibility for such actions due to a presidential campaign and a lack of enough Democrats in the Senate, it’s now much like George Washington’s blog has said:

Now that a Democrat has been elected president, the Democrats in Congress have no excuse. They can no longer pretend that they have to “hold back” to win the election.

They have no excuse to delay war crimes charges against Bush, Cheney and company for Iraq.

They have no excuse to delay war crimes charges for torture.

They have no excuse to delay criminal charges for spying on Americans.

They have no excuse to delay criminal charges for 9/11.

Now is not the time for Democratic machine politics. Now is the time to implement true American values - cherished across the political aisle - of liberty and justice.

There can be no liberty in America unless the tyrants who have tried to imprison us and enslave us are prosecuted.

There can be no justice in America unless the high and mighty are held accountable for their actions.

Obama is a former Constitutional law professor. He knows the value of the Constitution and the rule of law. He promised during his campaign to curb the unconstitutional practices of the executive branch.

But that is not enough. Because if the tyrants in both parties who have trampled on the vision of the founding fathers are not held accountable, then future tyrants will learn that they can get away with it, also.

Now that Obama has won, there is no excuse. Those who have trampled on our country and our people must be held to account for the whole world and future generations to see.

President-elect Barack Obama, must make it his first and foremost duty to repair the damage done to the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Without the Bill of Rights, as a country we are nothing.
Many bills have come before the House of Reps., among them HR 1955, which is a total abomination and disregard for the Bill of Rights, this bill should be tabled by the Senate and not passed on to the lame duck, shrub for approval.
Among the many crimes committed by the current administration, are the shredding of the Bill of Rights and Constitution, the doing away with the right of habeas corpus, the right to a fair trial, confronting your accuser.
If all of the things that have occurred in the administration of Duhhhhhhbya, were known at this point there would be a hue and cry for him to be tried as a war criminal and all of those who brought this country into two unnecessary and illegal wars.
I, for one, would be glad to hear the testimony of those who foisted upon the world, these serious and immoral wars. Yet I do not hold my breath that this is going to happen, Duhhhhhhhbya, is right now whipping out his pen, giving immunity to those who caused this country grave harm and will give immunity to himself for following the directions of the “gang of five” that caused this horrible and complete mess.

“Bush and his gang must be arrested and tried for war crimes, kidnapping, torture, murder. If not, hopefully they´ll get arrested and tried if they dare leave the country.”

It’s going to be hard to arrest all the lobbyist and greedy corporate suckers as they are the puppet masters.

An extremely apt cartoon.  This will be one of Obama’s most critical jobs, from both a national and international perspective.  I hope he is up to the task, and will actually make concerted, visible efforts in that regard.

Peace.
