It might not be over til its over but I think that the people not reached in the polls are the young college students who use cell phones and are busy doing what students do best and that is to get their degree it should be easier for students to vote.

Recently a student at the last minute was asked to prove that they are an American citizen, I think that the college would know that when she enrolled to become a student.  After all a lot of people fought for the vote and died in that effort.

As for the (phony) journalist who asked the question are we heading for socialism it was socialism that is bailing out Wall Street and when it is over will they go back to the way things were.

But there is noting to fear about Barack he will change Washington, he will bring in the smartest people he can work people and will actually listen to people who do not see things his way, he has a way to work with people and will make a great president.

I am starting to think that dramatic loss of jobs, plummeting dollar value, soaring oil price increases, spiraling budget deficits, unending erosion of constitutional rights and freedoms, emasculation of regulatory enforcement power and personnel, and increase in number of terrorists are actual goals of Republicans, rather than unfortunate events to be prevented.  Combined with the utter contempt of any sort of compromise, conciliation, cooperation or consensus on anything with anyone who dares disagree and the promotion of the worst breed of confrontation, obfuscation and retaliation leads me to believe that the current Republican leadership genuinely wants such terrible things to continue happening.  It is readily apparent such tragedies for most individuals work to benefit the Republican entrenchment of power by either economically weakening potential opposition, lining the pockets of Republican supporters, causing money to flow Republican coffers, pandering to base fears, and drowning out the voices of reason or investigation.  As astonishing as it is to contemplate, the controlling philosophy of those now in charge of the once Grand Old Party has somehow become “Any Means Justifies the End so long as it is the End of Democrats, Independents, Libertarians, and Greens.”

My intent here, admittedly posting an off-topic comment, is “kinda simple”. After the ATF “foiled” a conspiracy to “rob” an ammunications/gun store, to secure the weaponry that “they” felt neccessary to “execute” X number of Americans (dark-skinned, of course) and “off with their heads” of an X number of an additional number of “like-minded” Americans, BEFORE “trying” to “get ” Barack Obama…I’m left with a “I really want to know” inquiry.  Between the the two guys they “busted”...one from TN. and the other from AR. (both bastions of American Intelligencia) I have one, very important question regarding the Anerican “viability” of these subversives and their doctrine(s).  Add up the amount of “real teeth” that these two have vs. the “average” of “real teeth” in the American population’s mouths. I think that “they” have less than the average amount of teeth.  And, what kind of pick-ups do they drive? Also a very important aspect to require to aptly categorize who they are and for what they support. But, most important is a simple revelation. Are they “Ford” guys or “Chevy” guys?  All of this info is “very” important to all of us interested in the “changes” that the country “desperately” needs !!!

They still have a Trillion Dollars of our kid’s money to spend before 1/20/09.  How about redistributing wealth to the mortgage cos without even requiring them
to modify mortgages. That’s what Paulson just did to the tune of $7.7 Billion with PNC who was balking at modifying mortgages, just like all the other good
corporate citizens. What they fear is a new “bottom up” strategy, rather than their usual “top-down”. Did you know that Bancruptcy judges already have the power to modify second, vacation, or investment home loans (and luxury boat loans)? It is not socialism to ask that the same rules be applied to primary residences. Check it

Mr Fish; I hope you are wright. I am holding my breath because iam hearing all ready heading allegation of ill functioning machines and “white wash” of likely democratic votes. I am not having illusions about Obama presidency; but at least we will have our regular president who give the regular person regular attention and speaks in regular language.
