My opinion: both “conservative” and ‘moral majority” are now catch phrases used by the monied, racist, and right wing religous nuts in order to stay in, or gain power. They mean nothing in plain english. I am a “conservative” when it comes to our environment and federal spending (like wars), and “they” are liberal towards those things. They treat the envirnonment “liberally” by praticing short term economic growth at the expense of our land, water, and air. They treat our federal monies and savings VERY liberally by conducting wars that benefit a very few and harm the greater population.

So, in the end, who are true conservatives and who true liberals.

Those words have been socially and historically raped for too long.

What exactly does it mean to be a “conservative” or a member of the “moral majority”? Explain, please, the difference between the escapades of Bill Clinton & John Edwards and those of John McCain & Guiliani? Also lying is not listed as one of the 10 No-No’s in the Bible, but it is certainly not acceptable conduct by anyone. Yet the “moral majority” keep falling off the Honest Talk Express. Last & most important, why does the “moral majority” believe that guns & bombs are the only answers to world problems or differences? Talking is considered naive, concessions are considered as cowardly. So, please explain, what exactly it is that makes you so MORAL?
