In some Eropean countries a college education is guaranteed to anyone who can meet the admission requirements; you don’t have to join the military to get it. Why is it that in this country education has become such a precious commodity that one has to go to war and risk one’s life in order to receive a college education? There are students graduating with $50-100,000 in debts to pay off, and that with the economy in titanic mode. Senator Webb’s bill looks good on the surface, but what it really does is guarantee that there will always be enough manpower to fight the impirial wars. How many young people will die in some god-forsaken place in the hope of getting an education?

We have got to rid ourselves of these costly, mangling politicians before human sense can reign.
