On the other hand, if we had your system, Bush would have been out of office in 2006. Our system allows the will of the people to be defied.

As an observer from the UK it’s heartening to see the transparency and democratic processes behind how both US parties use to choose their candidates. However far from perfect it may be it’s far preferable to the way we do things….

There will be 3 people on the democratic ticket now: Obama, his running mate, and the ghost of Clinton. The dems had this election handed to them untill the people of Pennsylvania threw a wrench into the works.
