Hopefully never see the day where there is one currency, if there is plan to live at a far corner of the world either in the orient or South America.

Gov.’s will no longer exist, and if they do it will only be an illusion.

Move George Washington to the $500 bill, since that’s what a loaf of bread soon will cost, and Put George W Bu$h on the $1 bill. Most of those will be burned for warmth anyway.

This pretty much sizes it up. Reminds me of many years ago, when I tried to ‘change back’ my Korean money for US dollars after returning from a trip there.

The teller at the currency exchange window was ooked at me like I was crazy. (I was naive, not crazy wink She was like, “You really expect to get anything back for this?” I guess I was lucky she didn’t charge me for handling it.

Funny, they didn’t have any problems accepting those US dollars in South Korea. And, the South Korean money worked (well enough I guess) as long as I was there. It just wasn’t worth anything anywhere else.

And so it goes with georgies namesake. That’s why I never thought it was a good idea to put anybody’s name or face on money. Why can’t they just make paper that gives the denomination and leave it at that?

Doesn’t even have to be paper. It could be pebbles and rocks. At least they can be used for something else when they have no monetary value left.
