This is a copy of a more original piece that appeared in the Dallas Morning News about 3 years ago. It was B&W;and Madagascar was the tear. It was shaded to resemble a skull and had the word AIDS on the continent.

The sad truth is that you could cover 80% of that map in red and that only with the massacres and genocides I’ve heard of.
