Our President has refused to recognize reality since taking office. The United States cannot heal herself until both he and Cheney are held accountable for the crimes they have committed against humanity.

I love how you people claim our “brutal” invasion of iraq. Don’t for a minute consider the horrors that surrounded saddam hussein’s reign of terror. Yes occupation and rebuilding haven’t gone nearly as well as planned. But what is our gov’t and for that matter bush to do when only 16% of promoised monitary aid to rebuild the country has actually been paid by supporting countries. Most of which are middle eastern nations.
By no means has Bush’s term in office been fantastic, but people seem to want to drop all the blame on him. Our economy is not tanked because of bush and bush alone. The United States citizens are to blame for years of spending money they don’t have by way of loans, credit cards, and outrageous mortgages. Beyond this, blame our Collegiate education system for creating an entire generation of massivley indebted youth walking into a business world where they have no money, what money they make goes straight to loans, and by the time they get those loans paid off they’ll have no money to retire on and no social security to lean on for the elderly age. It all was bound to catch up to us sooner or later. Had this happened during the Clinton administration we’d be calling him a monster.
If your going to blame anybody, blame yourself, blame the bipartison political system, blame the government as a whole. Don’t be so pretentious and refuse to take any of the blame yourself. America used to be about standing on your own to feet to chase your own dream on your own steam. Now we just whine and complain and want everything handed to us, everything done for us, and we don’t want to work hard for anything.
boy am i gonna get flamed for this post….

There are lots of House and Senate seats up for grabs in November. Don’t forget to vote against all of the idiots who rubber stamped Bush’s arrogant and incompetent policies that led us into this mess. We need to get rid of more than just Bush if we expect to turn things around.

Look at the current state of Iraq and what has happened in the last four years.
One million Iraqi civilians (including a very larg number of women, children, and babies) are dead as a result of Bush’s criminal invasion of Iraq. Three million Iraqi refuges have been forced to leave their country to protect their lives. The Iraqis who are still in their native land are short of jobs, food, water, electricity, security, and other essential items and services important to leading a healthy and decent life in the modern world. In addition, Bush has taken away their liberty by installing (in the name of God and democracy) a puppet government the high officials of which are on the CIA “payroll”. The Iraqis have no personal liberty—they are subject to being jailed or shot due to little or no provocation, and their houses and persons are subject to brutal searchs without jurisprudential permission or oversight. Bush has also unleashed in Iraq the most vicious and above-the-law gang of terrorists in the world (Blackwater); for example, these thugs have on occasion used innocent Iraqies walking down the street for target practice!
The Iraq war and brutal occupation has been characterized by complete lack of transparency, criminal activity, corruption, surpression of data and factual information, blacklisting of reporters, Iraqi refuges, and others (for publishing photos, facts, and/or opinions critical of the occupation), propaganda, etc., etc.. Bush’s colonial aspirations are obvious—for example, over one billion dollars has been spent for buildings that will house the US occupational government.
I think that the origional plan was to first pacify the country (in three months—ha ha ha), and then “privatise” the oil and oil industry (i.e. sell all the Iraq oil to US oil companies). The Iraq economy itself would be transformed into a “maquinaria” economy heavily dependent on the US for its successful and continuous operation. Obviously, it is necessary to pacify the country before this can be done. Iraq’s only sin was having too much oil for its own good! The origional plan is doomed to failure, as the Iraqi population if almost 100% dead set against foreigners controlling there oil. Also, Russia and China has been supporting the Iraqi freedom fighters at great cost and threat to the US military operation.

As I listened to the President of the United States give his last State of the Union address, I said to myself, “This man is drunk.” Sure enough, those outside the US (myself included) have also noticed. What an embarrassment this man is. Poor Americans! Poor rest of the world!

What’s with the griping?
The president is merely intended to be a lackey of America’s elite class and he has done his job very well.
After he leaves office watch for the wondrous monetary awards awaiting him, especially from corporate America.
I wonder if he will best ex-president Ronald Reagen’s record of $2,000,000 for ONE speech to a group of assembled elites?

State of the Union? How about State of Shock! This moron has ruined our once proud nation and he deserves the same fate as Saddam. With a spineless congress and a useless media, war crimes will be forever embedded in our history just like the journalists that failed to accurately report it.
