What Would Jesus Do Without a Lawyer?Posted on Nov 28, 2007By Mr. Fish
Advertisement New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. In addition to more robust spam filtering and moderation, new features include the ability to rate other comments, sort how they are displayed and respond directly via e-mail or in a thread. Unfortunately, commenters will lose their existing Truthdig identities. It's a pain, we know, but on the plus side you will now be able to log in with a plethora of options, including Google, Twitter, Facebook and Disqus accounts. Before launching this system we spent months in discussion with our top commenters. We listened to the feedback and we hope you like what we've come up with. The outcome would be completely different, however. It is a lot harder to be a great martyr if you’re tortured, executed, and then cremated in secret.

He didn’t have a lawyer - that’s the whole point of the crucifixion story, uhh!
Nowadays, if you go into court and represent yourself, they say “you have a fool for a lawyer”.
What has changed? There is NO RESPECT for the individual despite all your enshrined garbage about rights.
Jesus didn’t play the system and he paid the f@ckin’ price, man! What have you all learned since???
YOU ARE ALL STILL SLAVES!!!

Jesus didn’t have a lawyer.
Republicans said tonight with no sense of irony in response to a question regarding whether Jesus supported the death penalty that they would pray to Jesus for guidance and wisdom on the matter.
