The Westerners have so courageously demonstrated their absolute power protecting their superior sense of morality when it comes to defending Democratic values!

While I sincerely hope we don’t invade Iran, this propaganda cartoon reminds me of a Russian joke from around 1970.
An American is comparing the US to the USSR with a Russian he’s met:
“In America, we have freedom of speech. We can say what we like.”
The Russian responds: “So do we. That’s no difference.”
The American: “But I can go right into Lafayette Park, across from the White House, and stand on a soap box and shout ‘I HATE PRESIDENT NIXON!’”
The Russina: “What’s the big deal? I can do the same thing. I can go into the middle of Red Square or Gorki Park and stand on a soap box and shout ‘I HATE PRESIDENT NIXON!’ too.”
Well, here’s another “protest paradox” - the “national day of action” sponsored by the United for Peace and Justice coalition on the fifth anniversary of the U.S. Senate’s vote authorizing the invasion of Iraq has coincided with the California fires - a stark reminder of what life under the US’s bombs is really like.
Ironically, a similar series of fires in 2003 in Australia, an Iraq/Afghanistan “coalition partner”, devastated suburbs of the nation’s capital, Canberra. Sadly, that made no difference to their ‘dedication’ in “staying the course”. Hopefully, this time will see that Iran is NOT invaded. USA learn your lesson!!!
