No-one here gets it, unless, of course, you are in the military, like I am. There is this slight recruiting problem we are having just now. So we signed General Washington up even though he is old as fuck. We have two or three dumbasses who are almost as old as him trying to run a war like it is some kind of corporate gig. Maybe General Washington won’t lie to Congrease and the American Sheeple about what kind of a shit-hole we are in just now. But if he does, we can always demote his ass to PFC and make him go catch an IED in the face.

I need glasses, and I couldn´t see the point at first.  So upon enlarging the ¨dollars¨ I thought the amount on the bottom said One Million with the military picture, and that made sense.  But alas, I was wrong and still fail to get it.

--militarism not the diplomacy outlined in Washington’s farewell address is winning out--

Mr. Fish has lost nothing; he is incisive as ever.

“The point eludes me.”
ok. let’s work on that.

how to analyze stuff:
(1) make observations.
- George Washington
- lots of one dollar bills
- updated military appearance

(2) connect the specific (your observation) to the conceptual.
- George Washington: president, war general, founding father
- lots of one dollar bills: money, economy, capitalism
- updated military appearance: military, war, violence

(3) ask “how are the concepts are related?”
- War funds the US economy and has done so since its founding.
- The US economy honors war and has done so since its founding.

Observations and interpretations will differ, but the basic process stays the same.

Douglas, did you sleep through all of grade school? That is George Washington’s face. Fish just updated his colonial military uniform and haircut with a contemporary military style. The point eludes me. Perhaps the reason there is no caption is that even Mr. Fish has no idea what his point is.

I guess it’s back to the old drawing...er..I mean cut n ‘pasting board for Mr. Fish.

Who’s face is that? Julius Caesar? Wasn’t he once “president of the United States of America”? Really?!?!
