Notice how none of the charactors are looking in the same direction?
Reminds me of the multi-directional goals in Vietnam.
Back then, if you asked the State Dept., the military, the Congress or the intelligence community why we needed to be there, they each gave you a different answer based on their personal goals which somtime seemed to conflict.
I also see why the “Surge” seems to be working. The Insurgents have simply done what they’ve done in the past when facing a superior force. They just go underground for a while. They’ll be back!
