Why is it that many are called anti-semite, but no one is ever called pro-semite? People who oppose the extermination of the Palestinians are often labeled anti-semite (by Likudnik/neocon mouthpieces), but doesn’t “semitic” refer to both Jews and Arabs, Israelis and Palestinians, and even (most) Iraqis? Are terms like semitic and aryan really meaningful in any modern sense? Or, are they partly mythical artifacts, partly relics from the “racial sciences” of the early 20th century??

Indeed, Mr. Fish, indeed
They make for a fine and lovely couple. Truly, folks, as it might finally come down to just this, which is more progress than we’ve lately been making.
