Advertisement New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. In addition to more robust spam filtering and moderation, new features include the ability to rate other comments, sort how they are displayed and respond directly via e-mail or in a thread. Unfortunately, commenters will lose their existing Truthdig identities. It's a pain, we know, but on the plus side you will now be able to log in with a plethora of options, including Google, Twitter, Facebook and Disqus accounts. Before launching this system we spent months in discussion with our top commenters. We listened to the feedback and we hope you like what we've come up with. I’m trying to place a bet in Las Vegas as to which party, the Demchiks or Repubniks, will hit rock bottom first. So far there have been no takers. Obama has no experience at anything and Hillary has experience being a President’s wife. Karl Rove must be salivating at the thought of either “winning” the nomination. What a different country this would be if we actually elected our “leaders” based on their knowledge, accomplishments and ability. Well, I can dream can’t I.

Is this guy with the Democrats? He should learn how to speak to senior members and older, more knowledgeable people!
